First Gold Club is a special Club created by the First State Bank of Beardstown to meet the needs of our customers who are 50 years of age or older. We offer this special Club because your banking business is very important to us. Your membership in First Gold Club allows you to enjoy benefits designed to enrich your way of life. We are offering this unique opportunity so that you may get more out of your banking relationship with the First State Bank of Beardstown.

QUALIFICATIONS

If you are near your 50th birthday or older and you have at least $3,500 on deposit at First State Bank, you are eligible. Qualifying deposits include IRAs, checking accounts, savings accounts, NOW accounts, merchant terminal accounts, Money Market accounts or any combination of the above. The $3,500 must be maintained for the duration of your membership in First Gold Club.

FIRST GOLD CLUB BENEFITS

A bi-monthly newsletter is mailed to all members of First Gold Club It includes new bank products and all upcoming events connected with First Gold Club, as well as items of special interest for our members.

The First Gold Club coordinator schedules a variety of events throughout the year. Two or three social events allow you to become better acquainted with fellow Club members. A seminar is scheduled once a year. The trips planned for members and their guests are sometimes the biggest reason people want to join First Gold Club. We plan many day trips to places of interest such as dinner theaters, boat cruises, ice shows, historical landmarks, etc. A new addition to our schedule of events are two day excursions and a four to eight day mini-vacation.

BANKING BENEFITS

Traveler's Checks, Money Orders, and Cashier's Checks can be purchased with no additional service charge.

Photo copies are always provided to First Gold Club members at no charge.
